Demand Control Center (or DCC) is a tool meant to increase transparency when working with Appodeal and give you a maximum control over mediation. DCC allows you to keep track of activated networks in your applications, to manage ad units (add and delete, as well as switch their priority in the waterfall) and independently link your own ad network accounts to Appodeal dashboard. Now you can manually adjust the position of ad units where you see it necessary. At the same time some networks can continue operating in an automatic mode. Previously only available to premium clients, DCC is now available to all Appodeal clients.
The tool consists of two parts: Networks Accounts and Line Items.
Networks Accounts allows you to manage linked ad network accounts to be used within applications. You can independently link your accounts and subsequently use them in applications. For most networks, Appodeal accounts are used by default, but you can always add your own. After linking, you will be able to enable them in your applications while we will be able to receive income reports from these accounts and aggregate that income for you in our dashboard.
Line Items (ad units) provides an opportunity to enable or disable ad networks (as it used to be done in Network Monitor), as well as to manage line items created in these networks for the application. You can manually configure in what countries a line item will appear and with what priority in the waterfall. It is important to note that in this case eCPM is used as a priority. In the automatic mode of operation, the predicted eCPM is used, based on historical eCPM in the application.
An automatic mode is activated separately for each network in one click. If necessary, you can remove unwanted line items or add new ones—for example, specific ones for a limited number of countries.
